<p>Being overweight and obesity are about to replace smoking as the #1 killer of Americans. Extra pounds and inches restrict activity, damage health and shorten life; it harms self-esteem and social life.</p>
<p>The United States Center for Disease Control found that being overweight is a significant contributing factor for: Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, Asthma, Arthritis, poor health and yes &#8211; Cancer.</p>

<p>This 3 day diet is one of the most popular ways to jump start weight loss &#8211; because it works!  There are a few rules to follow for successful weight loss:</p>
<p>•   Do not vary or substitute any of the listed foods.<br />
•  Salt and pepper may be used but no other seasonings.<br />
•  Where no quantity is given there are no restrictions, other than common sense.<br />
•  This diet is to be used 3 days at a time.   After 3 days of dieting you may eat normal food,<br />
but do not overdo it.  After your four days of normal eating, start back on your 3 day diet.<br />
•  Drink 8 glasses of water each day.</p>

<td>1 egg, 1/2 banana, 1 slice of toast, black coffee or tea.</td>

<td>1 cup of cottage cheese, 5 saltine crackers.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top"><strong>Dinner: </strong></td>
<td>1 skinless chicken breast, 1 cup broccoli, 1/2 cup of carrots, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup lowfat frozen yogurt.</td>
</tr>
<tr>

</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top"><strong>Breakfast:</strong></td>
<td>5 saltine crackers, 1 slice of cheddar cheese, 1 small apple, black coffee or tea.</td>

<td>1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice of toast.</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td valign="top"><strong>Dinner: </strong></td>
<td>1 cup of tuna, 1 cup of beets, 1 cup of cauliflower, 1/2 cantaloupe, 1/2 cup lowfat frozen yogurt.</td>
</tr>

<p>NOTE:  Individual weight loss may vary &#8211; be patient and stick to it.  Most people will lose 10 pounds in 3 days by following the above diet.</p>
